Senior Secondary level (Class XII) in the senior secondary / intermediate certificate course those who have completed 16 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which admission is sought for after qualifying in the entrance test prescribed to pursue senior/ higher secondary courses under the open distance learning mode.

Dual Enrollment & Part Admission

Under this provision, if you are studying in a regular school, or have already passed Secondary/ Senior Secondary examination or any other higher education from any recognized Board, you may opt for up to four subjects of your choice, to update knowledge and educational qualifications. However, on passing, only the Mark sheet will be issued and no other certificate will be issued.

We would like to inform you that the Maharashtra State Open Board of Secondary & Senior Secondary Education, Pune registered under act 9 of 1872 government. and affiliated with the council of basic and technical education. It is certifying students at intermediate levels in school education & conducting fair examinations to school dropouts by following the open and distance learning modules in accordance with National Education Policy 1986 Government of India and program of an action 1192 Government of India. The board has been constituted to regulate non formal education and other vocational courses (Under self employment educational scheme) in India, With the help of educational experts to educate basically school dropouts, private candidates, uneducated boys, girls, men and women to uplift the literacy rate in India. The education program run by the Board is its own autonomous programme with help of NCERT syllabus and NIOS syllabus. Legality, Validity, Utility, of the education programme are in strict compliance with the constitution of India and laws of the land under Article 19 (1) g, 29 & 30.

Accordingly the genuineness & validity of the certificates issued by Maharashtra State Open Board of Secondary and Senior Secondary Education, Pune (Mhsbshse) would have temper free hologram & special security features with unique computer generated sequence serial number.
